Do you remember the first pack? Part of the reason why I
decided to start this website is to help promote the hobby again.
I remember as a little boy how excited I was to get a box of
hockey cards. Nowadays, it seems like the hobby has become a
business. With only 1 or 2 products on the market that kids
can afford, we've really stepped away from the family fun that
used to be the hobby of collecting sports cards. So
remember, next time when you're at a card show or event, pay a
little more attention to the little ones. You never know,
that one simple insert card of Sidney Crosby that you could care
less about, might be the difference between a kid leaving the
hobby, to a kid that opens the next local card store down the
street from your house =) |
